Happy with Hoffman: Showtime is loading up their plate with new scripted fare, and they're tapping an Oscar-winning actor to help out.

The specialty channel has announced the addition of two new shows to their slate, the Philip Seymour Hoffman dark comedy "Happyish" and drama "The Affair."

The Bold and the Beautiful

Bill digs up dirt on Ridge and tries to convince Brooke that he's not a worthwhile partner. Ridge and Katie have a playdate with their sons and try to keep their conversation away from Brooke and Bill. As the pair discusses their past, their feelings for each other are strengthened. Rick tells Hope she has to decide what to do about Wyatt, both in her personal life and at Forrester Creations. Liam believes he can win back Hope and asks Quinn for a favor. After Wyatt tells Quinn to stop meddling in his life, she sets up a distraction to keep Liam from interfering. Wyatt seems sincere when he apologizes to Hope for misleading her, but she isn't sure if she can trust him again. Liam receives advice he may not want to hear about Hope from Caroline and Oliver.

Days of Our Lives

JJ receives bad news about his case and prepares his trap for Theresa. Theresa falls for JJ's tricks, but warns him that she won't go down easy. Daniel and Nicole find Dr. Chyka's hideout and confront him for information to help Eric. Meanwhile, Stefano's henchmen are on the way to neutralize Dr. Chyka. They arrive at the hideout just as Daniel and Nicole start to make headway, putting the pair in terrible danger. When Sami arrives at home earlier than expected, EJ rushes to hide the truth from her. Kate tells EJ and Gabi that they may have another problem. Later, Kate breaks into Jordan's apartment and is shocked by what she finds there. Knowing that Daniel won't be there, Brady heads to his apartment to drink in private, but someone else shows up. Brother Timothy offers Eric an alternative.

General Hospital

Nathan and Sam both uncover evidence against Silas, but Alexis and Sam are wary of Nathan's findings. After Kiki discovers Heather isn't in her room at the Miscavige Institute, she forces Franco to tell him the truth. Later, Franco attempts to escape from custody. The Port Charles Police Department receives a tip from an elderly widow who believes she may have seen the fugitive they're searching for at the cemetery. After making a demand, Victor tells Robin why she will do what he wants. Sabrina makes a decision that could have life-changing consequences. Lucas makes an announcement that catches Julian off-guard, and Emma receives an early Valentine's gift. Heather is caught in a cave-in and unearths something astonishing when the dust settles.

The Young and the Restless

Word begins to spread that Delia's death was caused by Adam. When she discovers that Billy knows the truth, Victoria becomes desperate to find him. Paul interrogates Victor about his and Adam's discussion outside the courthouse, and later, he thinks Adam may have been forced back to the crime scene by Billy. Chloe tells Victoria that she hopes Billy kills Adam. Cane proposes cancelling Delia's charity event, but Devon suggests giving back the money Adam donated and making a new donation for double the amount. Anita comforts Chelsea, who is distraught that she trusted Adam again. Fen and Christine make a deal that he will plead guilty to killing Carmine, but Michael asks for the hearing to be postponed. Later, Michael returns to court with new evidence which may help Fen. Nick finds out that Ian is in town and becomes angry with Dylan, blaming him for Ian's presence. Ian tells Nikki that Dylan is proof something good came from their previous encounters. Nick and Dylan set aside their differences and work together to help their mother. Cane becomes suspicious when his father, Colin, returns to Genoa City with Jill. Cane questions Colin about his motivations and intentions towards Cane's family.
