Q: Is there any connection between "Sid the Science Kid" and "Bill Nye the Science Guy"? Their titles are quite similar.

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Surprisingly, despite the fact that their titles are indeed quite similar, there is no official connection between the two popular children's series.

The titles are similar enough, in fact, that the former series, "Sid the Science Kid," could have been subject to some kind of legal action, were it not for the fact that it would have boiled down, in part, to PBS suing itself.

Last Man Standing, on ABC

Tim Allen stars as Mike Baxter, patriarch of a house full of girls, in this new episode. Mike does his best to maintain his manly dignity, but living with his wife Vanessa (Nancy Travers) and daughters Kristin (Amanda Fuller), Mandy (Molly Ephraim) and Eve (Kaitlyn Dever) can sometimes make it difficult.

With so many movies and TV shows being rebooted these days, one wonders if originality is dwindling in the entertainment industry.

Q: Can you tell me when "Longmire" will start this year? I have tried to find a date, but alas I can't.

Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Alas, we can't either.

"Longmire," a crime drama about a troubled sheriff enforcing the law in a small Wyoming town, has definitely been renewed for another season on A&E, but the network still hasn't announced a premiere date.

The previous two seasons debuted in late May or early June, so it's likely this next one will as well, but again, the network hasn't confirmed this.

Chicago P.D., on NBC

NBC presents a new episode of this hit procedural. A troubled and sometimes dirty cop, Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), heads up the Intelligence Unit, a special force that battles organized crime, murder and drug trafficking.

Clark Gregg stars as Agent Coulson who, with the help of his elite team of agents, defends the world from all manner of super criminals in this new episode. This freshman series has been a big hit for ABC this year, and marks Marvel's first foray into network television.

Q: Where can I send an email to Hallmark regarding its wonderful new series, "When Calls the Heart?" Thanks so much.

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Unfortunately, Hallmark doesn't offer an email address to which you can send your appreciation directly, but we live in the social media age, so you have plenty of other options.

The Hallmark Channel has profiles on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, where you can visit and send messages of love for your favorite show. Otherwise, you can go to the network's website, HallmarkChannel.com, and fill out the feedback form, which is the closest option to an email.

2 Broke Girls, on CBS

Waitresses, best friends and entrepreneurs Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) struggle to meet the demands of their cupcake business in this new episode. Garrett Morris and comedy favorite Jennifer Coolidge also star.
