Q: "Good Witch" just came back for a few weeks this spring and then was gone again. I really like that show and wish it would be a regular series. Who can I tell? Would that help?

Fan mail to producers of a show can never hurt, but don't expect it to get much of a result -- "Good Witch's" arrangement is already pretty "regular."

If you have the time and the inclination, there's no reason not to send a note to Hallmark Channel. Go to HallmarkChannel.com/Good-Witch for information on how to contact them (the best route these days is social media -- there are links there for the various services on the site).

Q: Why did we have to wait so long for the 2020 version of "Big Brother"? It seems like an ideal show for the COVID-19 era. Test all the contestants to be sure they are COVID-free and then put them in isolation where they will be perfectly safe.

You're right that "Big Brother" is better suited than most shows to film during an isolation period, but even a show about isolating people from society had to make some concessions to the pandemic.

The producers were reportedly just starting to cast the new season when the outbreak hit, so they decided to make it an all-star version instead. Those cast members had already been vetted and were familiar with the show, meaning the producers didn't have to continue looking around for new blood.

Jimmy Kimmel Live

If you don't know me, maybe you're looking at the screen and thinking, "Did John Krasinski have some type of terrible accident?" But no, I'm Billy Eichner.

I think we can all agree that the worst part of the pandemic is that every late-night talk show looks like a single dad's first YouTube video.
