Q: Was the scary movie "The Turning" based on anything? I thought it had that sort of feel.

It appears Hollywood is getting tired of the name "The Turn of the Screw," the novella by Henry James, which has been adapted as a film or TV show a whopping 36 times. One of the most recent adaptations is the 2020 film "The Turning."

Q: Why do I recognize the host of the "Spring Baking Championship?" I'm on Season 6.

Adam Thomlison / TV Media

I'm glad that you clarified, because Food Network's "Spring Baking Championship" has been through a few hosts in its six seasons on the air. Current host Clinton Kelly is now tied with original host Bobby Deen for the longest run, having fronted the past two seasons.

Those were real emotions you saw in the last season finale of "Hawaii Five-0" — it was the whole cast saying "aloha" to each other and the show.

I won't go into the details, but the final episode of Season 10 ended with a pretty emotional goodbye. It was hefty material to work with, but the actors got an extra dramatic boost two hours before shooting when the showrunner, Peter M. Lenkov, informed them that the show had been canceled.

America Ferrera as seen in "Superstore"

NBC's hit comedy "Superstore" has already put five successful seasons on the shelf and has now entered its sixth. Late Laughs for the week of November 1 - 7, 2020

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

You can't steer the course of an illness by lying about it. That's why it's called "Make-A-Wish" not "Everything's fine, Mark Ruffalo just wants to meet you."

Once again [Trump] learns nothing. He's like if Scrooge woke up on Christmas morning and said, "I've been visited by three ghosts. Don't be afraid of them, folks, and don't let them dominate you."

It is 1970 and the globally popular Miss World competition is set to take place in London with American comedian Bob Hope (Kinnear) as host. Despite the show's inclusion of its first South African contestant, Miss Granada (Mbatha-Raw), Miss World is still seen as a sexist spectacle that objectifies women. Armed with posters and paint, the newly formed women's liberation movement plans to disrupt the live television airing of the event and spread the message that a women's beauty and worth should not be based on her appearance.

As grief and anger take away from what was supposed to be a time of love and celebration, the family struggles to truly reunite before the inevitable loss of their matriarch.
