Q: Is "Yellowstone" coming back for another season? It has to; it left so much unresolved at the end of last season.

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

"So much unresolved" is a bit of an understatement — the Season 3 finale was packed full of twists, shocks and cliffhangers. And perhaps the writers were comfortable doing that because they already knew they were getting another season, but if they know when, they aren't telling. We can venture a guess, though.

Ready for a new round of culinary boot camp on Food Network?

Surprisingly, it has nothing to do with "Worst Cooks in America." This particular boot camp is for the pros, the chefs working in restaurants across the country — and it's not "Restaurant Impossible," either (or any Gordon Ramsay-led project, for that matter).

Shadow in the Cloud

Set in the summer of 1943, flight officer Maude Garrett (Moretz) boards an Allied bomber plane departing from New Zealand to Samoa. Although greeted in the quarters by demeaning comments from the likes of macho co-pilots John (Mulvey) and Anton (Koale), Maude's morale never wavers. She is focused solely on the mission she's been assigned: transport a crucial, confidential package from Auckland to its final destination. Forced by the flight crew into the ball turret, Maude reluctantly hands her precious cargo over to the one friendly crew member onboard, Sgt. Walter Quaid (Smith), and braces herself for the long journey. However, within minutes of takeoff, Maude notices a large, abnormal figure approaching them. Before they have a chance to react, a violent gremlin-like creature has hooked itself onto the aircraft, forcing the unit to fight a battle unlike any they're used to.

Director: Roseanne Liang. Stars: Chloë Grace Moretz, Taylor John Smith, Beulah Koale, Callan Mulvey. 2020. 83 mins. Horror.

Earwig and the Witch

Earwig (Henderson) is a rebellious orphan girl living at St. Morwald's Home for Children. Unashamed of her weirdness and comfortable living in the orphanage's quarters, Earwig is chastised by the matron of the institution for the unruly behavior she demonstrates to scare away potential adoptive parents. Her shenanigans prove futile when an odd couple, Bella Yaga (Marshall) and The Mandrake (Grant), come to meet her. Despite Earwig's tantrums, they choose her and take her into their home, where she expects to begin a new boring life. Instead, what she is met with goes beyond her wildest dreams. Earwig becomes Bella's witch apprentice, unlocking a magic in her and the world around her that she soon discovers might even lead her back to her biological mother.

Director: Gorô Miyazaki. Stars: Taylor Henderson, Vanessa Marshall, Richard E. Grant, Dan Stevens. 82 mins. Animated.

The Reckoning

Set in England in 1665, Grace Haverstock's (Kirk) landlord falsely accuses her of being a witch soon after she rejects his advances. As the Great Plague rages through the continent, and still reeling from the recent suicide of her husband, Joseph (Anderson), Grace endures the brutal physical torture many women before her succumbed to during a series of witch trials — an event that is now at an all-time high. The horrific conditions begin to unravel a supernatural evil within her that might end up claiming her soul instead.

Director: Neil Marshall. Stars: Charlotte Kirk, Sean Pertwee, Steven Waddington, Joe Anderson, Rick Warden. 2020. 110 mins. Horror.

Q: I was just rewatching "Community," and I thought I recognized the actor who played Prof. Whitman. Who is he?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

He is a respected character actor, a workhorse voice actor and a guy who can play the founder of a modern witch coven for laughs and make it work. The man in question is John Michael Higgins.

It's tough to guess why you know him — his eclectic screen resume has nearly 150 items on it — but the best bet is to say it's from one, or some, of Christopher Guest's mockumentaries.

Magnum P.I., on CBS

Jay Hernandez and Perdita Weeks star in this hit reboot of the classic series as roguish private detective Thomas Magnum and the steward of the luxurious estate he calls home, former MI6 agent Juliet Higgins, whose second job is keeping Magnum in line.
