Q: Who plays Mrs. Pat on the Toyota commercials? I've searched everywhere and can't find the answer.

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Alas, there's no single database or website devoted to tracking commercial actors (unlike the ones for film and Broadway actors), but in the absence of a formal system for giving credit, there's still good, old-fashioned gratitude.

For that reason, I'm able to tell you that Kristen O'Meara plays the wife on the series of commercials featuring Pat Finn as an overenthusiastic Toyota buyer/owner.

Supergirl, on CW

Melissa Benoist packs a super-powered punch as the DC Comics character returns in this drama. Saved from Krypton's tragic fate like he was as a baby, Superman's cousin, Kara (Benoist), uses her spectacular powers to keep the people of National City safe.

Q: Sylvester Stallone has a very interesting voice. Is it an accent or something?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Sylvester Stallone's ("Rocky," 1976) slow and labored vocal delivery, made famous with iconic characters Rocky Balboa and John Rambo, is very much his trademark.

You might assume it was a choice he made for those two roles, both of which he wrote himself (Rambo was based on a book character, but Stallone made quite a few changes in the screenplay), but, in fact, the choice was made for him the day he was born.

I want to congratulate the Milwaukee Bucks for winning their first NBA championship in 50 years. That's right, they beat the Phoenix Suns 105-98, but, of course, Arizona has demanded a recount.

A new poll found that 66% of Americans approve of Biden's handling of the coronavirus. The other 34% liked it the way things used to be, back when we had to Clorox wipe our bananas.
