Online alphabet: It's an online dating world out there.

The stigma that was attached to finding a date or a mate on the Internet is gone (mostly, at least), and a new NBC comedy hitting the airwaves this fall is set to take a laugh-filled peek at this now-mainstream dating method.

"A to Z" will be joining the peacock network's Thursday night lineup on Oct. 2, and its two stars -- the "A" and the "Z" -- are two faces that'll be familiar to fans of two of television's biggest recent hits.

Ben Feldman stars as Andrew (the "A" of the relationship), a hopeless romantic who's spent his adult dating life searching for "The One." Starring opposite is Cristin Milioti as Zelda (the "Z"), a practical realist who's just looking for someone she's compatible with. "A to Z" is being billed as the story of everything that's happened to the pair since the day they met in an online dating mixup.

Feldman's fame comes from his time in AMC's "Mad Men," in which he's been a regular since 2012; from "Drop Dead Diva," in which he played the angel Fred; and from his role in the two-season comedy "Living with Fran." He's also starred alongside Hilary Duff in the big-screen romantic comedy "The Perfect Man" (2005).

Milioti's a Broadway star who made her big TV splash earlier this year when she finally, after nine long seasons of buildup, was revealed to be the long-anticipated mother in "How I Met Your Mother," and in 2013, she starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the big-screen hit "The Wolf of Wall Street."

That's some star power right there, and with lots of other great talent signed up, "A to Z's" stars are lining up to make it a potential hit when it premieres on NBC this October.

Set sail: Looks like Ragnar's gang is bulking up.

"Vikings" is one of History's most successful (and definitely entertaining) shows these days, with its first two seasons pulling in huge numbers of viewers and attracting heaps of critical praise.

It's no surprise, then, that a third season is in the works for a 2015 air date, and the names of actors who will be appearing alongside the legendary Viking heroes are already leaking out.

Lothaire Bluteau will rule as the season's chief antagonist -- at least from the Vikings' point of view. The "Tudors" actor will be playing the powerful Emperor Charles of France, a man who views battling the Vikings as his divine duty.

Also joining the French royal court will be Morgane Polanski ("The Ghost Writer," 2010) as the Emperor's daughter and most trusted adviser, Princess Gisla.

Other actors joining the cast include Kevin Durand ("X-Men Origins: Wolverine," 2009), as a mysterious man called "The Wanderer," and Ben Robson ("Dracula: The Dark Prince," 2013), who will be playing Lagertha's trusted right-hand man.

The four newcomers will be joining an extensive and established cast that includes Travis Fimmel ("The Beast"), Katheryn Winnick ("50 First Dates," 2004), Alexander Ludwig ("The Hunger Games," 2012), Jessalyn Gilsig ("Glee") and Clive Standen ("Camelot").

As always, "Vikings'" exciting third season should be full of drama, plot twists and action, with a massive attack on Paris itself ultimately occurring. It's shaping up to be one heck of a ride when it hits screens next year.

A perfect partnership: Two icons of TV sitcoms are heading back to the screen side-by-side.

Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence have paired up to star in "Partners," a new comedy premiering Monday, Aug. 4, on FX. Set in Chicago, they play a pair of lawyers with extremely different backgrounds who pair up as they each face their own personal issues.

It's an exciting return to the sitcom circuit for a pair of men who each helped to define the format for their generation. Grammer, of course, first hit the public eye as Dr. Frasier Crane in "Cheers" in 1984. Originally written into the script as a minor character, Dr. Crane ended up being such a success that the character landed Grammer his own "Cheers" spinoff.

"Frasier" ran for 11 seasons on NBC and was one of the most successful spinoffs in the history of television, both critically and in the ratings. Since it went off the air in 2004, Grammer's starred in some TV flops ("Hank"), served as an executive producer on some big hits ("Medium") and continued to voice the recurring character Sideshow Bob in "The Simpsons."

Lawrence's sitcom "Martin" was a huge hit for Fox during its five-season run and helped put the young network on the map. He's also found huge success on the big screen, starring in some of the last two decades' most explosive and most laugh-out-loud hits, including "Bad Boys" (1995) and its sequel, "What's the Worst That Could Happen?" (2001), "National Security" (2003), "Wild Hogs" (2007) and "Death at a Funeral" (2010).

It's a match made in sitcom heaven, and with each man coming with a built-in fan base, "Partners" may have a ready-made audience waiting for it. Catch the premiere Monday, Aug. 4, on FX.
