Bill is overjoyed when he learns about Liam and Steffy’s close encounter in Aspen, so he grills his son about his feelings for Steffy. Steffy spills the details to Stephanie and receives some reasonable advice. Liam and Hope’s wedding conversation takes an unexpected turn. Hope begins to suspect that something may be up and asks Liam flat-out about his feelings for her. Meanwhile, at the invitation of a scheming Amber, Caroline attends a preview of Rick and Amber’s new collection. She sees a much gentler side of Rick during the event and later gains insight into the Spencer family’s dynamics. During an uncomfortable dinner with Steffy and Hope, Brooke asks Ridge to design Hope’s wedding dress in front of everyone. Later, they argue about whether Hope and Liam will even get married at all. Hope affirms to Brooke that she is turning her life around and dealing with her stress without self-medicating.
After the safe house blows up, the six people inside miraculously survive. However, in order to get the upper hand on Stefano, Roman and Shane inform family and friends that Rafe, Carrie, John, Marlena, Bo and Hope were all killed in the explosion. Austin mourns the death of his wife, but the pain soon turns to anger when he realizes that Carrie was likely only there to see Rafe in the first place. Meanwhile, EJ confronts Stefano about the house explosion, but Stefano vows that he had nothing to do with the bomb and he cannot be blamed. Shane sets up a plan in which Harmon gives Stefano wrong information. Shane brings Billie into the investigation, while Will tells Sami that he's the one who had shot EJ back when EJ and Sami were getting married.
Connie takes control and cleans out Kate's safe before Olivia can stop her. She plans to leave the country with Kate's money, and Johnny can't convince her to stay. Heather overhears Maggie talking about someone being crazy, and she flies off the handle. Elsewhere, Starr finds a way to make Sonny suffer, but Michael figures out what's going on and tries to stop her. Maxie begs Spinelli to keep Matt's secret but she's in for a rude awakening when she realizes that someone else has spilled the beans. Jason struggles to deal with the fact that Sam is carrying Franco's baby, while Sam tries to help Dante with a case and ends up making things worse.
Nikki catches Victor and Sharon having a romantic evening together and accuses Sharon of using Victor to get over Nick's recent engagement. Meanwhile, Phyllis panics when she starts bleeding and frets that she may have lost the baby, but the doctor assures her that they are both fine. Harmony helps a drunken Tucker get home and they end up in bed together as Ashley comes home. Daniel asks Daisy to marry him so they can be a family for Lucy, and Phyllis calls Danny to put an end to the wedding. Jill and Gen start to fight dirty -- literally.
