Q: Will Steve Martin be returning for a third "Pink Panther" movie? I really enjoyed the first two.

Adam Thomlison / TV Media

You were, it seems, among the few to enjoy the second, if not either film, and so it seems that Steve Martin's reboot of the franchise has ended.

The first entry, 2006's "The Pink Panther," made quite a bit of money at the box office (and, ever more importantly, on video), and though critics for the most part disliked it, many figured they were destined to.

Q: I'm trying to remember the name of an old movie. It starred the "Odd Couple" stars as reporters for a newspaper. I think there were several other big stars in it as well.

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

The film you're looking for is the 1974 Billy Wilder production of "The Front Page," a beloved, decades-old stage play.

It starred, as you say, Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon, the third of 10 collaborations the two friends made over their long careers.

Lemmon played a reporter at a Chicago tabloid who was weary of the business and planning to quit. His scheming editor, played by Matthau, convinces him to stay on to cover the sensational story of the execution of a convicted murderer.

Holidays and food go together like peanut butter and jelly. What holiday isn't filled with its own culinary traditions?

The Fourth of July is no exception to this rule. The fireworks may be flashier than the food, but I know that I'll have my barbecue fired up this Independence Day for some memorable grilling.
