The Heat
Ambitious and straight-laced FBI agent Sarah Ashburn is sent to Boston to track down an elusive drug lord when she finds herself forced to work with Shannon Mullins – a territorial and foul-mouthed Boston cop. While Ashburn wants to play by the book, Mullins has another idea – playing by her own rules to get the job done. The odd couple have to learn to work together to stop the ruthless Mr. Larkin.

Pacific Rim
While humankind faces imminent doom at the hands of monstrous sea creatures know as Kaiju, a washed-up pilot and trainee become humanity's last chance of survival. Using obsolete special weapons that allow for simultaneous control by two pilots whose minds are bridged, the two unlikely heroes make one last-ditch effort to stop the Kaiju before they consume the world's resources and destroy mankind.

The Colony
In the year 2045, humans have successfully created machines to control the earth's warming climate, but when the machines fail, humans are forced underground into bunkers by extreme cold and the pending ice age. Keeping disease under control and producing enough resources for all of the survivors proves the most challenging tasks for the people of Colony 7, led by soldiers Briggs and Mason, until they discover an even deadlier and more sinister threat when they answer a distress call from a neighboring colony.

A Hijacking
When a Danish cargo ship is hijacked in the Indian Ocean by a group of Somali pirates, the ship's crew is taken hostage. As hostile and escalating negotiations unfold between the hijackers and the shipping company's CEO, the men on board are forced into a cynical game of life and death as they find out just how much their company thinks they're worth.

The Bold and the Beautiful
The HFTF Diamond fashion show is a resounding success, much to the delight of Hope, Wyatt, Rick and Caroline. As Oliver and Wyatt commiserate over not being with Hope, Liam takes Hope to Big Bear to plan their upcoming wedding. While there, Hope receives an anonymous email which results in a huge fight with Liam and throws the future of their relationship into question. Meanwhile, Quinn tries to cover her tracks so that no one can trace the mysterious e-mail back to her. Later, Hope is stunned when Brooke changes her views on the situation with Liam and Wyatt. Donna discovers and must keep to herself a big family secret, while Bill advises Liam to get closure on his failed marriage to Steffy. Dollar Bill is full of resentment and refuses to keep quiet during Katie's first board meeting as CEO of Spencer Publications.
Days of Our Lives
JJ explodes when he learns a dark family secret and lands himself in jail again. Jennifer pushes Daniel away as she tries to get through to JJ. Kristen arranges for Marlena to be attacked by a thief in order to get her hands on the flash drive, but Nicole tries to rescue Marlena and the flash drive ends up with someone unexpected. Kate is poised to confess her feelings to Rafe when he asks her why she's spending so much time at his bedside. Marge considers making bold a move after a tense confrontation with Sami and EJ. Later, friends and family gather for Sami and EJ's engagement party, but it turns into a nightmare as the party reaches its bloody conclusion. Gabi ends things with Nick once and for all, while Daniel gives Eric a clue as to the person who might have poisoned him. EJ jumps to Chad's rescue when Cameron accuses him of lying about his brain tumor.
General Hospital
Anna is floored by new information revealed to her, and she struggles to face the truth about something and someone. Still reeling over Maxie's deception, Dante and Lulu seek out legal assistance and prepare themselves for an intense custody battle as the fight for baby Connie gets underway. Franco is upset when he learns of Derek's plans for a dinner date, while Sonny grills Ava in an attempt to find out where Morgan is. Olivia informs Duke about her vision of him in a mask, and later is struck by a powerful vision of Anna kissing someone from her past. Luke's condition worsens to the point of bringing him to death's doorstep, unless someone finds a cure in time.
The Young and the Restless
Lauren is horrified when Carmine ruins her Business Woman of the Year award ceremony and sends her a text saying he has Fen with him in the alley. Lauren drops her phone on her way out, and Michael finds it and read's Carmine's text while Kevin and Chloe keep searching for Fen. Adam gets confirmation that he is Connor's biological father when the paternity test results come in, while Dylan decides to stay in Genoa City after reading a heartfelt letter from Chelsea. Cane assures Victor that he'll walk away from the company, unless Victor can offer him a contract at Chancellor. Hilary shocks Mason when she turns down Devon's offer of a million dollars to leave town. Courtney and Noah lock lips after she helps him get ready for his tour of Newman Enterprises. Meanwhile, Sharon explains to a distraught Nick that she hasn't been taking her medication when he is taken aback by a passionate kiss she lays on him.

Top players in the American League compete for the pennant in Game 1 of the series. The winner of the AL series moves on to compete against the winner of the National League Championship Series.
The Neighbors, on ABC
Simon Templeman and Toks Olagundoye star as aliens from the planet Zabvron trying to learn more about life on Earth in this new episode. Luckily, they've found good friends in their new human neighbours, Marty (Lenny Venito) and Debbie (Jami Gertz).

Longtime TV star Bryan Cranston (his first credited role was on "CHiPs," if anyone remembers back that far) has always dabbled in film while earning his bread and butter on the small screen. However it seems (for now, at least) that he's taking this opportunity to focus on the big one.
The film side of his career has heated up lately with critically acclaimed turns in such hits as "Argo" (2012) and "Drive" (2011), and it will continue with a number of upcoming roles.
