Q: How authentic was "Parking Wars" on A&E? Was it staged?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Apparently not -- "Parking Wars" is cited as one of the more realistic reality TV shows to come out of the A&E stable.

It actually began life as a documentary produced seven years before the series debuted in 2008, and many of the show's regulars from the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) appeared in that original doc feature.

Fosse/Verdon, on FX

Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams star as visionary choreographer Bob Fosse and iconic Broadway dancer Gwen Verdon in this premiere. As Fosse's star rises, he turns to drugs and alcohol, while Verdon struggles to stay relevant.

Looking for his next big thing, it seems.

He'd done a series of long arcs in beloved shows ("Burn Notice," "Prison Break") before landing the lead in the high-profile, international series "Transporter: The Series" (based on the popular film franchise).
