Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

Wizard and magizoologist Newt Scamander's (Redmayne) fight against Gellert Grindelwald (Depp) takes him to France, where the dark wizard is on a mysterious mission. At the urging of his former teacher Albus Dumbledore (Law), Newt teams up with his old friends Tina (Waterston), Queenie (Sudol) and non-wizard Jacob (Fogler) to get to the bottom of Grindelwald's scheming, but as the dark wizard's message of magical dominance over the world begins to find more than a few receptive ears, their mission becomes ever more urgent, and more urgent still when they discover that Grindelwald is pursuing a powerful weapon: the troubled youth, Credence Barebone (Miller).

Mortal Engines

In a grim future where civilization has been all but destroyed by a global conflict, humanity's remnants live in massive, mobile cities that continuously search for smaller cities to absorb. When Hester (Hilmar) and Tom (Sheehan), two residents of the massive predator city of London, are exiled to the wastes, they team up in order to survive. They soon discover that the rulers of London have uncovered an ancient weapon that's capable of razing cities to the ground in the blink of an eye, and they realize that they must return to the predator city to stop the weapon from being used.

Piercing

Reed (Abbott) is a happy new father with a beautiful infant daughter, but he also feels a powerful urge to commit murder. Worried about what he might do to his new child, he books a hotel room and hires a woman that he intends to kill in an effort to get the murderous urge out of his system. When his intended victim shows up, however, it becomes clear that he isn't the only one with sinister motives.
