George, an albino gorilla living in a wildlife preserve near San Diego, is exposed to a mutagenic pathogen that causes him to both grow larger at an alarming rate and become more aggressive. His handler, Davis (Johnson), learns that the pathogen was developed as a biological weapon, but after government agents take the massive gorilla into captivity, George escapes and heads to Chicago, where the company that developed the pathogen is emitting a signal to attract the animal. When two other beasts that have also been exposed, a wolf and a crocodile, also arrive in the city, a massive battle breaks out between the three titanic animals and the military forces trying to save the city.
Renee (Schumer) struggles with insecurity over her appearance, but that changes one day after she falls off her bike and hits her head. When she regains consciousness, she suddenly sees herself as thin and beautiful, and her whole attitude to life changes because of it. When a cute guy (Scovel) makes small talk at the dry cleaner's, she assumes he's hitting on her and insists on exchanging numbers. She applies for a receptionist position at the cosmetics company where she works that she'd previously assumed she was too homely to get, and her positive attitude impresses her boss and lands her the position. It doesn't take long for her newfound confidence to twist into arrogance, though, and she begins to alienate her friends and endanger her job.
An innocent game of truth or dare gets all too real for Olivia (Hale) and her friends when a supernatural presence begins killing them if they don't follow the rules. As the players die one by one, Olivia tries to figure out a way to end the game before she and her friends are all killed for lying or refusing to complete a sadistic dare.
