Government agent Ethan Hunt (Cruise) is assigned his most explosive mission yet when deadly plutonium cores fall into the hands of dangerous extremists. After failing to secure the potentially world-ending weapons, Hunt finds himself questioning his devotion and loyalty to his country, and even his mission. Because of his failure, a CIA agent (Cavill) is assigned to shadow him. With his associates Benji (Pegg) and Luther (Rhames) helping him at every stage of his mission, Hunt and his shadow dive deep into the dangerous criminal underworld as they attempt to locate the plutonium, but when he is accused of being a double agent, Hunt finds his own allies turning on him.
A quiet and secluded Romanian monastery becomes a place of abject horror when a demon makes its presence known to the nuns who live there. When it learns of the evil presence, the Vatican sends Father Burke (Bichir) to investigate with Sister Irene (Farmiga), a novitiate who has had supernatural visions in the past. Upon arriving at the remote monastery, they discover that all is not as it seems, and that the demonic presence there may be more dangerous than either of them had anticipated.
In a city where puppets and humans live side by side, the two cultures collide when Phil (Barretta), the city's first puppet police officer who's now a private detective, stumbles upon a plot to murder the entire cast of puppet TV series "The Happytime Gang." When Phil's own brother, a former "Happytime" star, is also killed, the ex-cop teams up with his human former partner (McCarthy) to get to the bottom of the murders and arrest the culprit before any more innocent puppets are killed.
