First we have to get through the last season, but that, at least, has a date on the schedule.

You may have forgotten, since it was a while ago, but the Season 10 finale was pulled from the AMC schedule back in the spring due to the pandemic shutdown.

However, the producers recently announced that the Season 10 "finale" will air in October. I'm now putting that in quotes because they also announced that they were adding six more episodes to the season and will air them in "early 2021."

Then the 11th season will premiere later in 2021.

If you're wondering why they're bringing the show back for just one episode in October, there's a reason: It will serve as the lead-in for a new spinoff series, "World Beyond."

Indeed, there will be plenty of related material to get you through from October to whenever "early 2021" is -- "Fear the Walking Dead," the show's other spinoff, starts airing its new season in October as well.
