It's a bit reductive to call an actress a "Bond girl" — certainly one as accomplished as Olga Kurylenko — but it's a good place to start as it's how she came to fame.

Born in Ukraine, she got her start as a model in Russia. She soon switched to acting and, unsurprisingly, her international-type beauty had the Bond-film producers calling. She played Camille in the megahit 2008 film "Quantum of Solace," and, like so many Bond girls before her, used that exposure as a springboard to greater fame.

There are too many to list here, but some of her more notable films include the 2013 sci-fi smash "Oblivion," the 2012 prestige picture "To the Wonder," 2014's "Vampire Academy" and 2018's "Johnny English Strikes Again" (which, delightfully, is a Bond parody).

"Black Widow" is now on that list as one of her biggest hits, and it seems there are plenty more to come. With six movies currently in some stage of production, she seems poised to continue her career path of blending North American and international hits, action films and art fare.
