Q: Do we know anything yet about the next season of "Colony"? I love that show.

This is awkward. The one thing we know about the next season of "Colony" is that there won't be one.

USA canceled the sci-fi thriller just ahead of its third-season finale. Unfortunately, that means the show's series finale is also a pretty serious cliffhanger. Indeed, a number of new storylines seemed to open up in the episode (the creators said in an interview that they already had two more seasons planned out).

However, critic Michael Bibbins, a columnist for HiddenRemote.com, actually found a bright side on the other side of the cliff. "If there is one bright spot to this ending, it's that it does signify new beginnings for all of our characters in some way."

Basically, the characters were left at a point where we could imagine a better future for them. Which is good, since imagining is all we have left.
