Winter's Tale

In 1916, Peter Lake (Farrell) is a burglar who tries to leave behind a troubled past. His attempts to clean up his life infuriate the man who raised him -- gangster and undercover demon Pearly Soames (Crowe). When Peter unexpectedly falls for a sickly-but-beautiful heiress, Beverly (Findlay), Pearly decides to take his revenge, poisoning and killing Peter’s new love. But when Peter discovers he possesses the gift of immortality, he must overcome the century-long obstacles Pearly has created for his destiny and save his beloved.

Blood Ties

300: Rise of an Empire

After King Darius I of Persia is killed at war in Athens, his last words proclaim that only gods can defeat the Greeks. When his son, Xerxes (Santoro), is advised to abandon the war, he invokes his father’s words and is sent on a deserted journey by naval commander Artemisia (Green), where he emerges as a god-king. After his return, Xerxes declares battle against Greece in order to avenge his father’s death.
