Q: What happened to "CSI: NY" this season? Will it be back?

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

Unfortunately, no, it won't be back. After nine seasons, many -- though not all -- of which were hits, "CSI: NY" was very quietly canceled this past spring.

That said, the writers apparently had an idea that it was coming. They had to fight very hard to get another season in 2012-13 -- "CSI: Miami" wasn't so lucky -- and so they had a sense that it would be their last.

Mom, on CBS
