Viewers seem to have a love-hate relationship with one of TV's hottest trends. Some romance reality TV series disappear as quickly as they arrived on the scene. Anyone remember Fox's "Temptation Island?" Does "Mr. Personality" ring any bells?

Q: I didn't see the newest "Star Trek" movie, but is it true that it was a remake of "The Wrath of Khan"?

Not exactly.

I could say "spoiler alert" here, except that this is the sort of secret that's been out for a while now: the villain of "Star Trek Into Darkness" (2013), played by Benedict Cumberbatch, was indeed Khan, a longstanding bad guy in the old "Star Trek" universe.

Indeed, producer and director J.J. Abrams has admitted that the secrecy about the character leading up to the release of the movie was a mistake.

Q: What's the deal with the yogurt on "Burn Notice"? I've been watching it on DVD recently, and it seems like that's all they eat.

According to series star Jeffrey Donovan and series creator Matt Nix, it was just a joke that sort of stuck.

"It was just something that was written into the script by Matt," Donovan told E! News. "For some reason, every time I open the fridge, it says, 'All there is is yogurt.'"

It began in the first episode and was referred to multiple times afterward.

Q: Did Martin Mull have a talk show? I saw a clip once of him and some other guy I recognize, but whose name I forget, hosting a talk show.

Author:
Adam Thomlison / TV Media

"Fernwood 2 Night" was a talk show, of a sort, and Martin Mull did host it, though not as himself. The other guy you recognized was Fred Willard.

Martin Mull was hosting the show as Barth Gimble, his character from the cult-popular sitcom "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman," which was set in the fictional town of Fernwood, Ohio. Thus the series was actually a sitcom spinoff.
