If she is, she's keeping it very close to her prop bulletproof vest.

Angie Harmon gave a lot of interviews about her character's pregnancy in the weeks leading up to "Rizzoli & Isles's" fifth season premiere in June, but never once mentioned being pregnant herself -- it seems like it would be hard not to, like a little baby elephant in the room.

Also, she made waves in the tabloid press by posting a pic of herself in a bikini to her Twitter account in June -- a picture that showed no sign of a baby bump. Her character's pregnancy was revealed in an episode that aired in March, and was thus written and shot months earlier, so if it was based on her own pregnancy, it would be showing by June. (A cop show-worthy bit of investigative work, if I do say so myself.)

Also, the "Rizzoli & Isles" fan site RizzlesUnlimited.com says that she's not pregnant, though it didn't show its work like we just did.

If you're worried about Harmon missing the pitter-patter of little feet, don't be -- she and husband Jason Sehorn already have three daughters, aged 10, 9 and 5, whose feet are certainly making plenty of noise around the Harmon-Sehorn household.

As for the character, Harmon has said that coming to terms with her pregnancy has meant a lot of "growing up" for Jane, and that, as an actor, she has enjoyed getting this new bit of character depth to work with.

"Jane has gone through a really, really big transformation," Harmon told TVFanatic.com. "I mean, it's been a lot for her. This has been my favorite season so far just because, as an actor, I've gotten to do so much more."
