That's sort of hard to say. She's popped up in quite a few places.
If you're a fan of "Dollhouse," which she had a semi-regular spot on for both of its seasons, then it's most likely you know her from her biggest role, as Winnifred Burkle on the WB series "Angel," which was made by "Dollhouse" creator Joss Whedon.
But if your interest in "Dollhouse" comes from a general taste for action-mystery series, perhaps you know the Texas-born actress from her role as Kelly Preston on the hit series "Alias."
Or perhaps you just recognize her voice from her four episodes as The Huntress on the Cartoon Network series "Justice League."
You might know her from her big-screen work, though that's less likely as she's only done a few; the most notable was a smallish role in the 2002 Leonardo DiCaprio hit "Catch Me If You Can."
If it's the first case, and you recognize her because you're a follower of Joss Whedon's many TV projects, you'll be seeing her again soon.
Having found themselves out of work after "Dollhouse's" cancellation, Acker and Whedon are working together again on "The Cabin in the Woods," a horror film being written and produced by Whedon.
