Mayim Bialik, the titular star of the '90s sitcom hit "Blossom," has indeed resurfaced on "The Big Bang Theory," a sitcom hit for the 2010s. However, Jenna Von Oy, who played Blossom's best friend Six, has stepped away from the spotlight.

Just a few months ago, she and her husband gave birth to their second daughter, and it seems that family stuff is all that's been on her mind lately.

While leaving acting more or less behind to focus on raising her now two-year-old daughter, Gray, she's been a regular contributor to "People" magazine's Moms & Babies blog series (you can find it at celebritybabies.people.com).

Even her most recent screen role was family-related, in a sense: She appeared in an episode of "Celebrity Wife Swap," switching places with former "Real Housewives of New York City" star Jill Zarin.

Though their career paths have differed, Von Oy said that having children in fact brought her closer to her former "Blossom" co-star.

"Mayim and I have kept in touch for a while. Actually, motherhood really sort of resurrected our friendship," she said in a recent episode of "Oprah: Where Are They Now?"

She added that she often goes to Bialik for advice, despite the fact that Bialik has been criticized for her controversial parenting methods, including "co-sleeping" -- that is, letting the kids sleep in her bed.
